Designed for berthing LHA and LHD class vessels, the heavy-duty, long body design of the ICM camel distributes berthing loads to existing piles on the pier. The foam filled, tubular steel members, anti-fouling coating and stainless steel hardware improve performance and reduce maintenance costs. Two 10 ft by 30 ft camels can be interlocked creating a single 10 ft wide by 60 ft long working platform. All interlocking mechanisms are located below the working surface thereby maximizing working space and eliminating trip hazards. Handrails span the majority of the perimeter with the centerline handrail designed with shore power brackets allowing 3-phase shore power cables to run the length of the camel.
